Things I do not like about chickens:
Sometimes they die.
Sometimes I can't remember if the fence is on or not and I have to get up out of bed and go check.
Plus, it's always on when that happens.

:-)

:-)

Our chickens like: emmer, my toes when I wear sandals (ouch!), heads of lettuce (the bigger the better),
sleeping outside.

Things that like our chickens: the children next door, who feed them grass through the hardware cloth, and the kittens, Ginger and Smoky, who crawl under our back fence and watch the coop intently.

Our egg count is now at 15. I like eggs, too.

I'm getting caught up on a bunch of blogs I love but have been neglecting, including yours.

I just read your last several posts, and thought I should mention how much I really do love your writing. It's beautiful.

I hope you're well...

Jenn
